The Senior Exit Plans Survey (SEPS) is an annual statewide survey of public high school seniors, conducted by the Department of Education in the spring of each school year.
The primary purposes of the survey are:
1. To find out, on a statewide basis, the education and employment plans of seniors after graduation;
2. To find out what kind of planning assistance is needed at the individual schools.
The SEPS also provides schools with data for school improvement planning and school accountability. The data may have implications for addressing student needs via a school's counseling and guidance program, vocational education program, etc.
