NCLB school reports present information annually to meet the requirements of the federal "No Child Left Behind Act of 2001" (NCLB), Public Law 107-110. These comprehensive school reports are available by year, to the right.

The 2004-05 Final AYP results are now available:
1. Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) Determinations and School Sanction Status
2. AYP Results by School
3. Hawaii's NCLB Accountability Workbook , approved by the U.S. Department of Education on May 28, 2003, includes amendments up through school year 2004-05. This document provides guidelines and decision rules for Hawaii's NCLB accountability system.

In determining whether a school has met AYP criteria under NCLB law, results on the Hawaii State Assessment in reading and mathematics, and graduation or retention rates are compared to statewide annual targets.

Hawaii's NCLB Targets

Here are Hawaii's measurable annual objectives for (1) the percent of students proficient in reading and in math, and (2) graduation or retention rate used to determine AYP.
