This is a friendly reminder that the registration deadline for the Project Inspire courses is November 9th. Several courses have already filled up. The courses need a minimum of 10 participants in order for us to run the courses. I have extra printed brochures if you would like any extra copies.

Here are is just a few courses that are being offered:
iSafe (Event 1816)
This course will explore the potential dangers of the Internet and provide teachers with the information they need to facilitate Internet Safety education.
Podcasting In Education (Event 1824)
Podcasting is a powerful tool that allows for communication and distribution of educational content. Podcasts can be viewed on any computer or digital audio device for learning “any time, any place” and can include audio, photos and videos. Participants in this course will explore podcasting and it’s application to enhance teaching and learning and address multiple learning styles.
Using Technology to Meet Science Standards (Event 1805)
Focusing on Science Standard 1: The Scientific Process, learn how to utilize technology in data organization and analysis, and to communicate and present findings. Participants will also explore and investigate resources, tools, and strategies in the use of technology to enhance the teaching of science.
Internet and Online Learning (Event 1813)
The purpose of this course is to learn how to become an effective, responsible user of the Internet and to plan for their professional growth plan in the use of technology in the classroom.
